About

I graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree in Honors English Literature, Philosophy, and Creative Writing. I then attended Washington University in St. Louis, where I earned a master’s degree in Theatre and Performance studies. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at The University of California, Irvine in Drama and Theater, with an emphasis in Dramaturgy.

As a Ph.D. Candidate at The University of California, Irvine, I have taught courses on theater history, teaching drama from Ancient Greece all the way through to theater created during the Covid-19 pandemic. I have also developed a course on Shakespeare and Adaptation, which emphasizes non-white, non-Western, and cis-heteronormative engagements with Shakespeare’s works.

As an educational developer, I have lead trainings for graduate student teaching assistants in the school of the arts as a UCI Pedagogical Scholar. I have also developed a training for undergraduate and graduate graders as an Educational Development Scholar. I have attended the Institute for New Educational Developers (INED), and I am a member of the POD network.

I am currently the co-chair of The Shakespeare Association of America Graduate Committee. I was a founding member of this committee in 2024. The SAA Graduate Committee represents the interests of graduate students in the organization, and designs events to meet the needs of graduate and early career scholars in early modern studies.
